Our annual October Wine Tasting was again lead by sommeliers Keith Martin and Michael Strizich. For the first time, Scott Koue assisted. Inspired by summer dinners at the Hellenic Museum of Michigan, the theme is “A Tour of the Mediterranean”. Wines of Greece, France, Italy and Spain were served and cheeses from each country were paired with the wines. Cakes, from Shatila’s Bakery in Dearborn, completed the evening. Shatila’s specializes in desserts from the middle east and France. There was plenty for all to enjoy as we studied one of our most popular topics, the fruit of the vine.
