3/3/17 (Friday) to 3/10/17 (Friday) — 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. — Detroit Waldorf School presents its parent/child program at the school for children ages twelve months to three years old, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Activities include outdoor play, circle time (songs, finger play, games, nursery rhymes), snack preparation, free play, crafts and stories.

3/4/17 (Saturday) — 2 p.m. — Taste of Waldorf Tour at Detroit Waldorf School. The program for adults gives participants a chance to visit pre-kindergarten through eighth grade classrooms and learn more about the grades and subject matter.

3/5/17 (Sunday) — 4:30 p.m. — Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church invites everyone to a free concert series at the church. Vocalists Paul Grovesnor and Imani Manchu will perform art songs, arias, duets and scenes from opera and musical theater.

3/6/17 (Monday) to 3/20/17 (Monday) — 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. — Detroit Waldorf School presents its parent/child program at the school for children ages twelve months to three years old, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Activities include outdoor play, circle time (songs, finger play, games, nursery rhymes), snack preparation, free play, crafts and stories.

The program includes a snack, tutoring, art and gym for Nichols School students in the second through fifth grades. Adult volunteers are needed to work with children one on one in reading and math.

3/9/17 (Thursday) — 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. — Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church will host a blood drive at the church. Doors and volunteers are needed throughout the event; blood donors are eligible to participate in this drive if they donated on or before January 13.

3/11/17 (Saturday) — 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. — Detroit Waldorf School invites everyone to An Evening of Wellness at Above The Barre X, 15229 Kercheval Ave., Grosse Pointe Park. The event includes a barre class at 5 p.m., chair massages, juices and snacks.

3/26/17 (Sunday) — 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. — The Indian Village Historic Collections invites everyone to Make Way for Mollicone Park at Craft Work Restaurant and Bar, 8047 Agnes Street. Proceeds from the event will be used to reactivate the park at the corner of Burns and Goethe by adding walking paths, benches, picnic tables and play equipment.
