If you are considering a move and are attracted to the gracious homes and the spirited community atmosphere found in Historic Indian Village, we cordially invite you to join us. You would be most welcome in this urban community only four miles from all the cultural, sport and festival activities in Downtown Detroit. Orchestra Hall, home to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Detroit Institute of Arts and Wayne State University are also close. The Detroit Medical Center, Henry Ford Hospital and St. John’s Riverview provide quality medical care without a long commute.
Yet, Historic Indian Village is tight-knit community of neighbors, a true village that just happens to be surrounded by a city. Every resident in the 352-home community is a neighbor, not just the person next door. We are a multi-cultural community of young and old. Children are growing up here. If you are community oriented, the Indian Village Association, the Woman’s Garden Club, the Men’s Garden and Indian Village Home & Garden Tour are all looking for volunteers to help sustain and improve the Village. (Please check the Churches & Schools Page on this site to see the important contribution these institutions make to our community.)
The realtors listed below are all Indian Village residents. They know the houses, the people and Indian Village’s rich history. Each is available to introduce you to an Indian Village house possibly waiting to become your home.

My wife and I have lived in Indian Village for 20 years. It has been a wonderful and interesting experience. As my neighbor once said, “How many people are lucky enough to live in one of these?” He was referring to the fact that each of these homes was built by craftsmen and designed by master architects for specific families. He could just as easily have been referring to his neighbors because we are lucky indeed to live in a neighborhood where the word neighbor actually means something. I have been a realtor for 10 years, served on the Indian Village Association board, been active in the Men’s Garden Club and worked just about every Home and Garden Tour. The homes are wonderful but it is the neighbors that make it a neighborhood.
I will do my best to help you find what you are looking for in a new home.
